JET’S PIZZA LANDS IN BOCA RATON: Grand Opening Celebration planned for March 20 BOCA RATON, Fla., March 6, 2015—Jet’s Pizza is coming in for a landing in Boca Raton at 8903 Glades Road. The new store is scheduled to open on March 20. This is the first store in Palm Beach County for the Michigan-based chain. Jet’s Pizza has built its reputation on its signature Detroit-style, deep dish square pizza with the crunchy crust. Single slices of deep dish square are always ready to grab and go. New York-style, thin crust and hand-tossed round pizzas are also available. Jet’s pizza dough, sauce and vegetables are prepared FRESH daily at each store, topped with premium mozzarella cheese. Customers can “flavorize” their crust for free from a choice of eight flavors: butter, poppy seed, Parmesan, garlic, Cajun, Romano, sesame seed or Jet’s Turbo Crust®. The 1,336 square foot store, located in the Somerset Shoppes at the corner of Glades Road and Lyons Road, also offers salads, subs, wings, Jet’s Bread and Jet Boats for carry out or delivery. “We moved our whole family from Michigan to south Florida to start this new adventure,” said Casey Kolp, who owns the franchise with her husband Cal Kolp. “We are very excited to introduce Jet’s delicious pizza to our new community.” The Kolps recently retired from 35-year careers with the U.S. Department of Defense. Their two sons, David Kolp and Jerry Pardo, will be the store’s general managers. Both have experience in the restaurant and wholesale food industry. The store is hiring approximately 25 to 30 part-time employees as pizza makers and delivery drivers. Those interested in applying can email [email protected]. A Grand Opening celebration, open to the public, is planned for Friday, March 20, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with free samples, coupons and giveaways. The Boca Chamber will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at 5 p.m. Phone the new Boca Raton store at 561-852-5700. Online ordering will be available at www.jetspizza.com.
