HotWorks.org new Palm Beach Fine Art Show took place this past weekend outdoors at Palm Beach Outlets. The inaugural show included 60 quality juried artists, whose work was original and personally handmade by the artist at the show. There was something for everyone, in all price ranges. The event was blessed with beautiful weather on Saturday and Sunday. There were 17 Professional artist awards judged by Terri Elenzweig, a Mixed Media artist who has participated in art shows for 40+ years; Terri has won many awards in top-notch juried art shows herself. Criteria was based on originality, technique/execution and booth appearance. Awards were presented Saturday afternoon. All award winners are juried into the February show for 2021. Sponsored by Institute for the Arts & Education, Inc., the associated 501c3 non-profit that focuses on visual arts, community enrichment, cultural diversity, and fostering art education among youth, this unique and one-of-a-kind program encourages students in grades 6-12 or ages 9-19 to create his/her original art and exposes students to the rules and entrepreneurship opportunity of doing art shows for a living. It brings families to the art show who might not otherwise attend and exposes them to great art. $250 in youth art awards were presented, with judging is based on originality and technique/execution.
