Temple Beth El: Maccabeatles A Chanukah Shabbat Celebration




Boca Raton, FL (November 15, 2019) In celebration of the miracle of Chanukah, Temple Beth El of Boca Raton invites the local South Florida Jewish community to come together for a joyous musical Shabbat service on Friday, December 27  at 6:00 pm to hear the story of the Maccabees through popular Beatles tunes as they present: The MaccaBeatles!

Bring your menorah  and your Chanukah candles to the Temple Beth El Schaefer Family Campus in east Boca Raton, as we light candles together, shining the light of the season. Hear the story of the Maccabees through the music of the Beatles led by the Temple Beth El clergy, youth and adult choirs and our rockin’ band.  Tunes include: Eight Nights a Week, All We Need is Oil and Hey Judah! At 7:30 pm, following this lively Shabbat Service, will be a delicious Chanukah Dinner, Dance and Latke Party, catered by Chez Gourmet.

“Chanukah is about bravery and finding light at the darkest time of the year. Telling the Chanukah story through the fantastic music of the Beatles will lighten the souls of everyone of all ages!” says Cantor Lori Brock. 

Guests will have a choice of attending the dinner featuring a DJ Dance party or classical live music. Registration is required for the dinner and party. $20 adult/$12 children (ages 4-12), after December 20th price increases to $25 adult/$15 children (ages 4-12.) RSVP at tbeboca.org/special-events.
