John Campanola Named Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce Ambassador of the Year 2018 DELRAY BEACH, Florida—John Campanola, an agent with New York Life Insurance Company, has been named Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce Ambassador of the year 2018. Mr. Campanola was selected for his knowledge of the Chamber as he promoted the value of membership to businesses and welcomed new members to the organization last year. The Ambassador Program consists of volunteers from the Delray Beach Chamber membership who donate their time to assist the Chamber in various activities. The Ambassadors assist in the promotion, volunteer support and development of various Chamber sponsored events. "Being an Ambassador with the Delray Chamber allows me to help promote and grow business in Delray Beach. We are often the connectors within the community. The Chamber provides numerous ways to network and meet new and existing businesses," said Mr. Campanola. "John exemplifies the characteristics of a truly dedicated volunteer. As Ambassador, he goes above and beyond to assist the Ambassador Team and the Chamber in meeting its goals. Whether he is helping a current member or talking with a potential one, he understands the value of building relationships in the business world," said Jeb Conrad, President and CEO of the Delray Chamber of Commerce. About John Campanola Mr. Campanola is a long-time Florida resident who is active in local activities and events. He is a graduate of Leadership Delray, and is very involved in the Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce where he is a long-term Ambassador and a member on many of its committees and organizations. He is the winner of the Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce 2013-2014 Ambassador of the Year and a winner of the 2013-2014 Ken Ellingsworth Community Service Award. He is also very involved in the Boynton Beach Chamber of Commerce as an Ambassador and as Chairman of the Boynton Business Professionals leads group at that Chamber. He is the winner of the Boynton Beach Chamber’s 2017 New Member of the Year Award. He also serves on the Board of Directors for a private non-profit organization, The Institute for Regional Conservation.
