Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County proudly welcomed two local mothers and their families into safe, affordable homes during a joyful Women Build 2025 Joint Home Dedication Ceremony in Lake Worth Beach. In March 2025, hundreds of women rolled up their sleeves during Habitat’s annual Women Build fundraiser, working side by side with Judy and Tangie, two local moms building brighter futures for their families. Just five months later, the community came together once again, this time to celebrate the joy of homeownership as Judy and Tangie received the keys to their Habitat homes. As they prepare to purchase their homes with an affordable, 30-year, interest-free mortgage, both women are excited for the future. “This is more than just a house, this is our home. A place where we can finally exhale. A place where we will laugh together, cry together, and fill every room with love,” said Tangie. “This house is more than a shelter. It’s where I’ll watch my dreams take shape. Where I’ll laugh, rest, struggle, Pray and grow. It’s a place of safety, a place of memories,” shared Judy during the Joint Home Dedication Ceremony. The Noel-Jeune and Guillaume family homes were made possible thanks to the generosity of Carrier, and The Breakers (Home Sponsors), the Lake Worth Beach CRA (Land Donor), Moraca Builders (Drywall Sponsor), and partners Comcast and Fitzhugh Holdings. These homes were also built in partnership with Women Build 2025 co-chairs, committee members, sponsors, builders, and donors. “Today is about more than just handing over the keys, it’s about celebrating the determination of these families and the power of women coming together to make homeownership possible,” said Jennifer Thomason, CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County. Habitat GPBC invites you to save the date for Women Build 2026 on March 12 and 13 in West Palm Beach. Women (and men) will come together to build homes, raise hope, and uplift the community in a way that’s as impactful as it is empowering. Women Build 2025 was supported by dozens of community sponsors, including BETR Project, Vertical Bridge, Carrier, Lake Worth Beach CRA, The Seagate, WPBF 25, Gator Gypsum, RCC Associates, SFBW, Akel Homes, Florida Peninsula Insurance Company, Moraca Builders, Suffolk, United Way Palm Beach County, Boca Raton Airport Authority, Campany Roofing, LocaliQ, Wellington Florist, The Colony Hotel, Gunster, JMorton Planning & Landscape Architecture, Palm Beach Fancy, Pioneer Linens, PulteGroup, The Hesse Family, Periwinkle, Morley, Coco & Co, Padel Club, First Female, Barel of Monks Brewing, Notorious Wines, Grimes Events and Party Tents, Hedrick Brothers Construction, Humana, James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational, Oceans234, Plastridge Insurance Company, Seacoast Bank, YMCA of South Palm Beach County, The Scout Guide Palm Beach, PYRA Promotions, Magen Protective Services, WLRN, and Chick-fil-A.
