Storm Smart, Florida’s leader in hurricane protection solutions, proudly supported WPBF 25’s annual Back-to-School Supply Drive with a donation valued at more than $2,900 to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Palm Beach County. The donation — which included 500 backpacks, crayons, notebooks, glue sticks, and more — will help equip hundreds of students with the essentials they need to start the school year strong. Storm Smart was featured during a live on-air segment on July 9th from WPBF’s West Palm Beach drop-off location at 4105 Pinewood Avenue. The station also broadcasted live from a second donation site in Stuart, Fla., throughout the day. The donation included: 500 backpacks (assorted colors) 500 packs of crayons 400 packs (20 per pack) of pencils 500 glue sticks 500 spiral-bound notebooks 700 rulers “At Storm Smart, giving back to the communities we serve is part of who we are,” said Scot Burris, CEO of Storm Smart. “We’re proud to support the Boys & Girls Club and help set students up for a strong, successful start to the school year.” This contribution is part of Storm Smart’s ongoing community outreach efforts and reflects its value-driven culture that puts both customers and employees first.
