Gunster continues to expand with the addition of three attorneys WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (January 14, 2020) – Gunster, one of Florida's oldest and largest full-service business law firms, is pleased to announce it continues to expand and diversify with the addition of attorneys Enrique M. López, Ryan Lee Hedstrom and Maria V. Romero. López joins the firm’s Miami office as an of counsel attorney. He focuses his business litigation practice at both the trial and appellate levels. He has spent nearly a decade practicing law and clerked for the Honorable Angel A. Cortiñas, the Honorable Vance E. Salter and the Honorable Thomas W. Logue, all at the Third District Court of Appeal. He holds a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and a B.A. from Brown University. Hedstrom joins the firm’s business litigation practice in Tampa as an associate. He advises clients involved in commercial disputes. He currently serves as co-chair of the Young Lawyers Division of the Federal Bar Association’s Tampa Bay Chapter. Hedstrom earned his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law and his B.S. from the University of South Florida. While in law school, he was an associate member of Stetson’s Judge John M. Scheb Excellence in Appellate Advocacy Award. Romero was recently promoted to an associate in the firm’s immigration practice in Miami. She focuses her practice on employment-based immigration and has experience preparing employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions. Romero previously worked for Gunster as an Immigration Law Clerk. She earned her J.D. from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center and her B.S. from the University of Houston. of Stetson’s Moot Court Board and received Stetson’s Judge John M. Scheb Excellence in Appellate Advocacy Award.
