The 4th annual 2017 Apogee Awards is coming up on November 14th and they are still accepting nominations for another couple weeks. This is a great opportunity to nominate a C-Suite executive from your company or one of your friends.

The Apogee Awards will honor three individuals in each category representing businesses in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. There will be 24 honorees showcased in both the pages of SFBW magazine and at a special awards ceremony to be held November, 14th 2017. The deadline for all nominations is July 27th, 2017.

Honorees will be selected by a distinguished group of business leaders, community leaders and peers who comprise the SFBW editorial boards of Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach.

Consideration of honorees will be based upon the impact on his or her organization, clients and the community. What are his or her accomplishments in their current role, including team leadership, innovation and overcoming obstacles and challenges? The ideal finalists are well-rounded with achievements in business and in professional, civic and/or charitable organizations. Applications with specific details on accomplishments, such as improved business metrics, carry more weight than applications with broad, unspecific accomplishments.

Supporting metrics, such as sales, profits, product/service introductions, employment level changes, expansions, acquisitions, market share changes and satisfaction ratings from clients or employees may also be considered. Press releases, biographies, testimonials and resumes are acceptable as supportive material.
