Boca Raton, FL – TransMedia Group, one of the largest independent PR firms in Florida, has appointed Marla Emanuel Director of Public Relations. Originally from New York, Marla Emanuel started her career in Media at WCBS-TV New York while still completing her bachelor’s degree in Communications with a minor in English from State University of New York, College at Oneonta. Soon after, Marla started a career in print media and advertising sales in Long Island with the Buy Lines Press and the Yellow Book. She utilizes her knowledge of people skills, marketing, promotions, and dealing with the public for TransMedia Group. “I’ve always been a people person and that’s what gravitated me to this field and this company,” Emanuel says. In addition, she recently attended her first Boca Chamber of Commerce breakfast meeting and enjoyed it immensely, meeting and greeting new people and potential clients and friends. Emanuel’s personality adds to TransMedia Group events, and their many other venues throughout South Florida. Prior to TransMedia, Emanuel worked for Adelphia Business Solutions in Weston and MetroPCS, Inc. in Sunrise in their Sales Departments. In addition to sales, her positions at these 2 companies included promoting clients, participating in outside PR events, and a lot of networking throughout the South Florida community. She also met and exceeded her monthly sales quota repeatedly at these positions.
